We have a couple of new positions in our software development team. Great opportunities for software engineers who want to work with “big data”.
Check them out here http://www.onalytica.com/careers/current-opportunities
Lots of building work is currently going on beneath our office in the Centre Point building. BBC London has taken a trip down into the midst of the work, deep underground, to have a look at how the new Tottenham Court Road station is shaping up. The video (please see link below) explores the current state of the work from a perspective we don’t often get the chance to see!
The new and improved Tottenham Court Road station will be six times larger than what it is currently, which will be a nice change for everyone who travels through the station. The station will be finished in five years’ time and by the looks of the drawings and plans, it will be worth the wait.
Please see the BBC London video here.
For more information on Transport for London’s latest news and details of the new station and surrounding area please see here.
We have finally moved into our new offices in Centre Point.
The offices are a nice combination of open plan and individual offices …
Software engineering with a great view …
A library for relaxing and reading (we actually do have books) …
We have a great kitchen where we can enjoy food/drinks and a chat …
Needless to say that a 360 degree view of London from the 29th floor is stunning …
A different view of British Museum (the green roof) …
More pictures (and lots of other news) to follow.
You could enjoy this view and our new offices with us every day! How? Check our jobs section frequently.
When we moved to our current offices at London Bridge about a year ago I didn’t imagine that only one year later our offices would be too small.
Not only are they now too small, but we have had to rent office space for 10 people from our friendly neighbours.
After viewing 46 offices we have signed a lease for the 29th floor of Centre Point
, the iconic building at the corner of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road.
I am dedicated to use this opportunity to create a world class working environment that is conducive to both creativity and productivity.
In doing so I am trying to combine my own experiences with those of Joel Spolsky
, who has written extensively on the topic (Joel’s own article
, NY Times article
Last Wednesday evening we all went to the Paramount Club situated on floors 31-32 in the building. It was an especially clear night and to say the view was stunning would be a massive understatement.
I can’t wait for the office building work to complete so we can start to work there every day.
