I recently attended an industry get-together organised by Paul Birch and Robert Loch.

Here I met Nestoria’s Ed Freyfogle and we had an interesting chat about how vertical search and web mining are somewhat related. (See Ed’s blog for more detail).

For those of you who don’t know Nestoria I urge you to check it out. They are a fantastically well made vertical search engine focusing on real estate. A kind of better Google-for-real-estate.

Just like Sam Seti I can’t stop myself using it all the time to try and find the perfect place to live.
